It's either pick and choose, or "take all" and fill your pockets with trash. I wonder if the whole ammo thing could be phased out, because all those hulls and shells that you find in every corpse and container are so bothersome. You find plenty in the world, and can buy it too. And last but not least: I have yet to suffer scarcity of any ammo. And anyway, broken down ammo gives you meager quantities of the key ingredients (powder, primer etc.).
For me such thing doesn't exist, I love to swap weapons. Also, breaking down other ammo seems such a waste. Is it worth even to try? I haven't been able to make any ammo because the key ingredients aren't found as loot, and vendors have extremely low quantities to sell.
